The Chair - Xmas Gigs
November 16, 2011
Orkney's roof raising band 'The Chair' are set to play three very special pre-Christmas gigs on the Scottish mainland in early December.
On Friday the 2nd December they will play the Woodend Barn in Banchory, and then it's on to Stirling on the 3rd to play the Tolbooth before returning to B
anchory to round off the weekend's festivities with a special Sunday lunchtime event - again in the Woodend Barn.
Douglas Montgomery from the band said they were really looking forward to the short tour. "The Woodend Barn and Stirling Tolbooth are two of our favourite venues and we always get a really good and very lively audience there in every sense of the word" he said. "With it being the lead-in to Christmas, and hopefully everyone starting to get in the mood for that, we think these concerts will get everyone, including ourselves, really fired up a bit ahead of time".
