Chris and Catriona Aus Bound

Chris Stout and Catriona McKay are heading to Australia in March / April 2011 for an extensive month long tour that will also take in two major Australian festivals along the way.
The duo are in Australia primarily at the invitation of the Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club, and while there Chris and Catriona will be delivering workshops for the club and also performing a number of concerts with them. They will also be participating in workshops with several of Australia's leading harp societies.
In addition to that they will be playing gigs in Brisbane, on the Sunshine Coast, in Sydney and Melbourne with more dates elsewhere yet to be confirmed.
Two of their more high profile appearances in the country will be during the 'Ten Days on the Island' festival in Tasmania, where they will spend five days at the festival undertaking a variety of concerts - including one on 'Flinders Island' in the Bass Striaght. 
To close off the tour the duo will also be appearing at the National Festival in Canberra, before returning to the UK at the end of April.

Shetland Schools Music Festival 2012
The Shetland Schools Music Festival has been hailed a great success by everyone involved. Over 1000 young Shetland musicians, singers etc etc took part during the four-day annual event.
