Dean Signs to Navigator

Edinburgh based singer / songwriter Dean Owens has recently signed to Derby based label Navigator Records, one of the UK's leading independent record labels.
Dean's latest album 'Whisky Hearts' will be re-released in a new fresh format by the label on the 15th September under license from Vermillion Road Records and will be launched at special concerts in London on the 5th August (Slaughtered Lamb) Brighton 6th August, and his home town of Edinburgh on the 14th August (Voodoo Rooms) when a number of very special guests are expected to make an appearance. .jpg&w=250&q=90&fltr[]=usm|40|1|3 "Whisky Hearts - Photo Hugo Morris")
Dean said "I am absolutely delighted to have signed to such a great label, home to an already impressive list of artists such as Kris Dreaver, Jon Redfern, Heidi Talbot and Lau and I simply can't wait to get to work for them".

Fiddlers Bid on the BBC
BBC Alba have now broadcast the programme they filmed of Fiddlers Bid during this years 30th Shetland Folk Festival - a programme which also celebrates the band's own upcoming 20th anniversary.
