Bid in a Lather
November 19, 2010
Fiddlers Bid have teamed up with the Shetland Soap Company (A COPE social enterprise company) with a view to appearing in a series of tongue-in-cheek national magazine adverts to promote both the company and their range of toiletry products.
The first to 'go under the lens' was band member Chris Stout who was pictured immersed in a bath tub in a field on the remote Shetland island of Fair Isle (his home island) surrounded by sheep, to promote the 'Shetland Soap' product 'Crofters Bubble Bath'.
Chris said "We really admire both the company and their products, and they, in turn, appear to like our music, so this seemed a really good and logical partnership to form.
The adverts of course have a series purpose behind them, but they are also a bit of fun. Hopefully they will catch people's eyes and prove beneficial to both parties"
