Fish for Shetland

'Fish', former lead singer with 80's and 90's mega-band 'Marillion' is set to play Lerwick in September as part of a wider Scottish tour, following rave reviews for a similar jaunt across Europe and Scandinavia.
Solo since 1988, Fish has only recently returned to live performance following the removal of a cyst from his vocal chords. He is now back to full-time touring - with a new solo album due sometime next year.
The Lerwick gig will be held in the Sound Hall on Saturday September 3rd - the final date of the tour - and Fish will perform as a trio, accompanied by guitarist Frank Usher (Incredible String Band) and keyboard player Foss Paterson.
Tickets for the gig go on sale from High Level Music at 9am on Saturday 4th June, 2011 priced £17.50.

As you will be aware from the size of the venue numbers for this gig are severly limited so you are advised to buy early to avoid disappointment.

The Shetland Schools Music Festival has been hailed a great success by everyone involved. Over 1000 young Shetland musicians, singers etc etc took part during the four-day annual event.
