Fish in News

November 9, 2011

Fish, ex lead singer with 'Marillion', performed a gig in Lerwick's Sound Hall in September 2011 in front of a small club type audience as part of his much heralded 'Fishheads' acoustic tour of smaller Scottish venues and clubs.

Fish was joined by Frank Usher (guitar) and Foss Paterson (keyboards) for a two hour set of solo material and a selection of Marillion's best known and loved songs.

The gig proved to be a personal and very intimate treat for Fish followers, with the man himself moving among the audience at times as he delivered his set.

Davie Gardner - who promoted the show in association with 'Beyond' promotions from Inverness - said "All in all it was a quite stunning performance from the big man. He was really relaxed, was in extremely fine voice as always and interacted brilliantly and very personally with the local audience - who, as

they tend to do up here, responded accordingly. It was all the better for being a small, more intimate event which I suspect everyone there will remember for a very long time".
