New Fiddlers Bid Album

The new album from Fiddlers Bid 'All Dressed in Yellow' will be officially released in early November, although pre-release copies of the album are now on sell in Shetland only and from the bands website at http://www.fiddlersbid.com
The album, their first since 'Naked and Bare' in 2005, was recorded in Mark Knopflers studio in London and has already been hailed as their finest to date, with just one of many highlights being the near 16 minute title track.
A DVD to accompany the CD has also been recorded and this will be made available with future copies of the album.
The album was officially launched at a concert in Lerwick's Clickimin Centre during this years Fiddle Frenzy in Shetland in August.

Fiddlers Bid on the BBC
BBC Alba have now broadcast the programme they filmed of Fiddlers Bid during this years 30th Shetland Folk Festival - a programme which also celebrates the band's own upcoming 20th anniversary.
