Rock Salt & Nails for Celtic Connections

In what will be their 21st anniversary year (2012) Shetland band 'Rock Salt & Nails' are set to celebrate the occasion with a special concert at this years Celtic Connections Festival in Glasgow.
The band are set to play the Oran Mor in Glasgow on Friday the 3rd February, 21 years to the VERY DAY when the band first formed.
Fiona Johnstone from the band said they planned to deliver a very special concert indeed. "We are hoping to have a number of special guests along for the night - including as many ex members of the band as possible" she said. "We are really looking forward to getting back to Celtic Connections again after several great concerts there in past years".

The Shetland Schools Music Festival has been hailed a great success by everyone involved. Over 1000 young Shetland musicians, singers etc etc took part during the four-day annual event.
